Restaurant Keisarinsatama is located in an old brewery building called Kotkan Höyrypanimo. Our family owned restaurant was established in 2001. We are situated on a famous local beauty spot, where the River Kymijoki meets the sea, only three kilometers from the interesting city of Kotka.
Come and enjoy!
Keisarinsatama means the Emperor's Harbor. The name is part of this area's history from the end of 18 century when the Emperor of Russia and Grand Duke of Finland, Alexander III, spend time at the Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge. When he arrived to the lodge, the Emperor's ship was anchored here where our restaurant is located. Ever since this place was called Emperor's Harbor which was chosen as the name of our restaurant.
